clients_screen_02Kellogg tasked Source Nine with creating the central database for Consumer Affairs globally. The information in this system populates the numerous corporate and brand websites that Kellogg hosts. Kellogg’s internal customer support representatives use the system to have constant access to the most up to date information. The system acts as a central repository for current product information including promotions, recipes, packaging images and nutritional information. ASP.Net and Oracle were used to build the system which replaced a series of cumbersome Lotus Notes and Perl databases. To achieve the highest level of usability Source Nine implemented AJAX for the user interface.

When information is entered in the system and cleared for publishing, it is instantly available. This greatly reduced the cost associated with website updates and maintenance that would otherwise be performed by an outside agency.
